Kazemizer Shark® – IASTM Full Body Seminar
Kazemizer Shark® is an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization IASTM tool made of surgical stainless steel. It is one tool to treat whole body. It is light with bibeveled edges making it a very versatile tool. This is a hands-on seminar with presentation of evidence and case studies.
During this seminar the attendees will learn:
- About Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and review of literature.
- How to use Kazemizer Shark™ for treatment of neck to toe conditions.
Lower Limb Soft Tissue Massage Therapy Workshop
VMTX Vibromax Therapeutics™ is an innovative soft tissue therapy technique utilizing the effect of vibration via the art of compression and tension along and over the soft tissues along the known kinetic chains to break down adhesions and scar tissues, decreasing pain, restoring function and enhancing performance with minimal discomfort to the patients and the providers.
During the full day workshop the attendees will learn:
- The evidence for vibration therapy and various benefits and effects of vibration
- How to use the VMTX device with proper tension and compression for various part of the body.
- How to use VMTX for various myofascial chains.
Leukomizer Athletic Taping with Leukotape
Leukomizer® uses Leukotape® which is a very strong and stiff adhesive tape to restrict movement of joints and muscles. Leukomizer® is a very efficient and effective taping technique to restrict movement and protect the area with only 2 strips of tape.
During this seminar the attendees will learn:
- How to apply Leukomizer® to various joints of the body.
- Indication and contraindications of Leukomizer®
Vibration Plate Seminar
Whole Body Vibration (WBV) exercise are done on specific plates that vibrates in vertical direction with specific frequency. There is great evidence for WBV effect on strength, power, proprioception, bone density and muscle activation.
In this one-day full body seminar the attendees will learn about:
- WBV specifics and how to choose the right machine
- Evidence for WBV utilization
- Various exercises and rehab programs using WBV

EXTREMITY ADJUSTING WORKSHOP
During this hands on workshop you will learn how to adjust the extremity joints using a variety of techniques – High velocity low amplitude (HVLA) manipulation and manipulation using the Thuli board and table drop piece. Dr. Kazemi will provide a brief introduction on the state of research in extremity manipulation and effectiveness as well as the principles of adjusting using a drop piece and manual HVLA. He will demonstrate and guide you through adjusting of extremity joints. You will have ample opportunity to practice with a partner and receive personalized feedback. Review of the material learned as well as a question and answer period will end the workshop.
SPINAL ADJUSTING WORKSHOP
During this hands-on-workshop the students will learn how to adjust the spinal joints using variety of techniques (High velocity low amplitude (HVLA) manipulation, Thuly board and drop piece). After a brief introduction to the state of research in spinal manipulation and effectiveness, principles of adjusting using drop piece and manual HVLA will be discussed. This will be followed by adjusting of specific joints specified below during which the students will pair up and after the demonstration by Dr. Kazemi will practice the adjustment on one another. Dr. Kazemi will provide instruction individual feedback. There will be a period on question and review of the material at the end of the seminar.
ATHLETIC TAPING WORKSHOP
During this hands-on-workshop the students will learn how to tape the extremity joints using zinc oxide white classic tape. After a brief introduction to the state of research in taping and effectiveness, principles of taping will be discussed. This will be followed by taping specific joints for specific conditions during which the students will pair up and after the demonstration by Dr. Kazemi, will practice the taping one another. Dr. Kazemi will provide instruction and individual feedback. There will be a period on question and review of the material at the end of the workshop. The students should wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

ATHLETE ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT UPPER AND LOWER QUADRANT
These seminar/workshop series will focus on regional assessment of Athlete and multimodal unique therapy focusing on vibration therapy and rehabilitation, joint manipulation, joint and fascia mobilization, using IASTM (Kazemizer Shark®) and or VMTX Vibromax and Leukomizer® taping technique. The principle of assessment including history taking, physical assessment including orthopedic, neurological and myofascial testing will be explored. Scientific evidence for Whole Body Vibration (WBV) exercise rehab, VMTX Vibromax Therapeutics® (neuromusculoskeletal therapy via utilization of hand-held vibration device), IASTM and Leukomizer® taping, high Velocity Low Amplitude (HVLA) manipulation with and without drop piece will be presented. We will then proceed to hands on assessment and treatment of the area utilizing the specific approach.
